TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These are the Terms and Conditions for the Hawkes Bay Harvest website.
PRICING
All product prices are set on our website and are inclusive of GST. By placing an order you authorise us to immediately charge you payment method for the total cost of your order. We do not accept EFTPOS, cash, cheque or direct debit.
No prices will be changed if a product decreases or increased in price after the time of purchase and/or delivery of your order.
If an order is unusually larger than household or office orders we reserve the right to add additional freight to order. Before the order is sent we will contact the customer to let them know of the calculated additional freight cost. The customer can cancel the order and receive a full refund if they are not happy with the additional cost.
DELIVERY
Your order will be delivered in a chilled and insulated box. The box will be left at a secure spot even if no one is home. It is your responsibility to ensure that the carton and its content is refrigerated as soon as possible as soon as it is delivered.
SERVICE
We will ensure that any delays with deliveries are communicated with you. If there are any major delays on our behalf we will offer a replacement or a full refund for the order.
DAMAGED OR MISSING GOODS
If an order is lost while in transit or damaged prior to arrival we will communicate with you to organise a replacement or a full refund.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Once an order is submitted we cannot accept any cancellations or refunds due any other reason except a product issues.
We reserve the right to cancel or not accept an order for any reason which may include, but not exclusive to the following examples, products not available, a systems error on price and/or product description on our website or if our products breach any regulations and we deem it unsafe to deliver.
PRODUCT ASSURANCE
Products may vary slightly from the pictures on our website. Whether this be from the physical look of the product or the packaging. The images are taken for illustrative purposes only. We endeavour to be as comprehensive as possible when it comes to describing the products we sell, so please ensure that you read these descriptions comprehensively before purchasing any products. If a product is not as described we will work with the customer to ensure the problem is solved. All weighted products will not always be exactly to weight, but we will ensure that if the product is not exactly to weight it will be more. We will not supply less than what is paid for.
If, for any reason a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, our customer service team will be in touch to organise a cancelation, refund or a replacement with a product that is of equal or greater value.
We may limit quantities on products ordered. Additionally, we may reduce the amount of products from the order or it may result in a delay in the orders despatch date, if it exceeds a household or office quantity. If this is the case, our customer service team will get in touch to solve the issue that could result in a cancellation or refund of your whole or parts of the order.
All products are sold in compliance with the Australia New Zealand food safety standards. If a product has labelling that does not meet these standards which may include missing information on allergens, ingredients or nutritional information, you may return the product and request a full refund or we will suggest a replacement with a product of equal or greater value. All product information on our website are published in correspondence with our suppliers and it is put onto our website in good faith. However, product can change on short notice so we do recommend if you have any concerns regarding allergens or other nutritional information that you please look on our suppliers links provided on our website to ensure you are satisfied with the product before consumption.
If there are any product recalls, the customer will be contacted directly and appropriate return will be put in effect.
If there are any issues with delivery to certain areas, we reserve the right to limit product ranges to these areas.
All products including products that are on sale or promotion are only subject to availability while stock lasts.
RESTRICTED PRODUCTS
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase alcohol or any age restricted products that we sell on our website.
The courier may reserve the right to not deliver the product if no one is home to accept the order containing alcohol or too intoxicated at the time of delivery. The courier has the right to verify the receivers age. If for any reason, the delivery driver does not deliver the product we are not liable for any additional transit time that may put the condition of other perishables at risk of moving into unsatisfactory conditions due to the increased transit time.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE OF PRODUCTS
Please adhere to standard storage temperatures for each individual products to ensure that it remains safe to consume.
All meat products will be delivered with a minimum 7 day best before date.
Fruit and vegetables need to be stored in the right conditions to ensure they are consumed at a safe and satisfactory condition.
Once the products are received it is the customers responsibility to ensure the product is stored correctly to ensure a high quality.

We believe that all the information that is on our website is true and accurate. We always want to ensure that our customers are getting exactly what they are promised and what we are serving. However, we can not guarantee full accuracy for all the information on this website.
